I'm grateful for the neighbors I have. Okay, I guess it's probably not fair to identify them as "the neighbors" wen they're really so much more than that. I've been friends with Brian since my Junior year of high school; about eight years ago. And his girlfriend, Paige, is absolutely amazing.
But, I'm grateful for them all the same. I'm grateful to know that Dan and I have people we know that we can trust and count on literally just a knock on the door away. It's nice to have people we can just hang out with on a whim without having to actually go anywhere. And it's nice that we can just sit around and play games, not doing something extravagant.
I'm also grateful for these neighbors seeing as how they are by far the best ones to have moved into our apartment quad. Even if they weren't friends of ours before they moved in, they are at least quiet and don't make tons of noise at 4am when they're stumbling home. Oh the joys of living a mile away from a college campus.
