Anyways, I went into work on Friday knowing that one of my managers had said that she needed to talk to me. Even though she told me that it wasn't anything bad, it still made me pretty apprehensive. I mean, her definition of bad could be different than mine. So I spent the day kind of mulling over anything that I could have been doing wrong. Well, when I saw her, she didn't give me any bad news. Instead she told me that she'd really like to see me take the test to be a CSM and that I should really consider it. Even though it's not something I'm really interested in, it feels really good to know that my work ethic is noticed. I'm happy to know that my peers, immediate supervisors, and higher ups think that I would be good for the part. I think I might in fact be the only one who has doubts about it.
Well, after work, Katie and Scott came and picked me up. After running inside two Giant Eagles to get stuff, we headed back to their apartment to get ready for game night with friends. If you haven't noticed, my life pretty much at this point is consistent of three things, staying home catching up on tv, working, or game night. It's kind of a weird circle. Alison and Brad got there at about 6 and had pizzas with us. And Daniel came after he got off work. We played Quelf, which landed Steve shouting at people every time they landed on a green card, Dan talking like a preacher (which he failed at, yet Alison was AMAZING at), and everyone ending sentences in "izzle." They game ended with Brad being victorious, and me coming in last. I'm so completely grateful for the friends in my life.
